Andhra Pardesh and Kerala have both confirmed their first ever case of Omicron variant on Sunday.
The case in Kerala has been confirmed after a native of Kochin has returned from UK via Abu Dhabi on December 6, informed the Kerala Health Minister Veena George.
An another returnee from Ireland has been tested for the new COVID variant in Visakhapatnam.
Manwhile, a third case of Omicron has been detected in Karnataka.
