The world famous Alankanallur Jallikkattu is coming to Pip. With the 16th set to take place on Sunday, the Mukurthakal event took place today near Muthalamman Kovik.
Bulls from different districts of Tamil Nadu will participate in Alankanallur Jallikkat. Many more foreigners will come to Jallikkattu and enjoy this heroic game. The Madurai Tourism Development Corporation has introduced a system of bringing foreigners from Madurai by cars. Security arrangements will be made under the supervision of Madurai District Superintendent of Police Baskaran.
Arrangements for the ceremony were made by the festival committee and the village public.
