Minister pays homage to decorative vehicle in Madurai

Finance Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan welcomed and paid floral tributes to the freedom fighters of Tamil Nadu.
On behalf of the Tamil Nadu Press and Public Relations Department, a decorative vehicle depicting the contribution of Tamil Nadu freedom fighters to the “Tamil Nadu War of Liberation” is on public display at the Madurai Theppakulam.
Minister of Finance and Human Resource Management Dr. Palanivel Thiagarajan visited and paid floral tributes.
The decorative vehicle will be used in the Republic Day celebrations on behalf of the state government to express Tamil Nadu’s sense of patriotism and liberation. The Chief Minister said that the decorative vehicles will be sent to the major cities of Tamil Nadu for public viewing

The people of Madurai enthusiastically welcomed the Republic Day decoration vehicle.
The decorative vehicle is currently on display for three days till January 31 at the Vandiyur Theppakulam area in Madurai.
Vellore Soldier Revolution, Marudu Brothers, Veeramangai Velu Nachiyar, Quili, Veerapandiya Kattabomman, Ondiveeran, Poolithevan, Alaku Muthukkon, Kalaiyarkovil Tower are on display in the vehicle that arrived in Madurai. There will also be art shows honoring the sacrifices of freedom fighters. The event was attended by many including Madurai South Assembly Member Bhuminathan
