Siva Surya, 27, a Coimbatore-based engineer from Thondamuthur works in a private company in Gujarat. Decided to spread awareness about Fit India Campaign among the pubic to increase the cycling usage and to create greener India, he has made a cycling journey of a whopping 1,902km from Sabarmathi Ashram in Gujarat to Ramakrishna Mission in Coimbatore.
“I took the bicycle ride to emphasize that the public should take care of their and be vigilant. Through my journey I have showcased the ‘Fit India’ campaign. My aim is that people should give priority and use bicycles to build a greener India”, he said. He began the adventurous ride on January 1st and completed it after 10 days.
