INTEC 2022, the 19th edition of INTEC, International Machine Tools and Industrial Trade Fair was inaugurated at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, Coimbatore.Satyakam Arya, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, Chennai was the Chief Guest on the occasion and he inaugurated the event. P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing) of NSIC, New Delhi was the Guest of Honour. R. Ramachandran, the Event Chairman, E.K. Ponnuswamy, the Event Vice Chairman and M.V. Ramesh Babu, President of CODISSIA were present during the inauguration.The five day event of 19th edition of INTEC is to see more than 400 exhibitors from India and abroad and more than 50,000 business visitors. The fair will also have MSME participants and NSIC and SIDBI are taking part to extend financial support to the MSMEs. The main highlight of the exhibition this year is the display of laser cutting machines.10th edition of CEOs Conclave titled “GMCV 2030” – Global Manufacturing Cluster Vision 2030 with a theme, “Positioning Manufactures for the Economic Upturn” is to be held as a part of INTEC 2022 and awards for Best Innovative Product and Best Stall from amongst the Micro, Small, Medium and large Industry categories are to be presented.The event is supported by Ministry of MSME, Govt of India, New Delhi, National Small Industries Corporation, New Delhi and Small Industries Development Bank of India, Coimbatore.
